CANADIAN DIAMOND BUYER BEWARE
It has come to our attention that there are some Canadian diamonds out there being distributed by companies that are not a part of the Industry Canada's Canadian Diamond Code of Conduct. If you are buying diamonds from Non-Signatory wholesalers, you may be subject to an internal investigation to prove the source of your Canadian Diamond. If you or your supplier cannot prove the diamonds's origin from your retail counter all the way to the original mine, you are forced to refund the customers money or to rectify the situation by finding him/her a "Genuine, fully trackable diamond", otherwise a record of your company name and a log of the inquiry will remain in the archives for future review.
This will affect your company's credibility and reputation in providing the public with legitimate Canadian diamonds.
